Who is Ilia Maksimenka?
Ilia Maksimenka is an AI founder, product architect, investor and advisor building self-driven companies at the intersection of autonomous agents, DeFi and programmable finance. He has built technology companies since 2010, DeFi infrastructure since 2016 and AI-native products since 2021.
What is a self-driven AI company?
A company designed around coordinated AI agents that can sense context, make bounded decisions, execute workflows and learn from outcomes. Humans define ownership, purpose and guardrails; software runs more of the operation.
What are you building right now?
My main focus is iSales AI for autonomous commerce, Amplified for agentic yield infrastructure, and 0xDef.ai for autonomous DeFi portfolio operations.
How do you work with founders and investors?
I work selectively as an investor, technical advisor, venture builder or product architect — from thesis and due diligence through product architecture, positioning and go-to-market.
